What better way to chill on a warm Friday than to catch up on some blogging business. Early in the week I thought I didn't have much fodder for this week's post but, as the week progressed, I found myself with an embarrassment of riches which I must cull.

Hi Jill,

Thanks for mentioning my last post - good to have it spread far & wide. It's been a (long) while, but I hope this one finds its mark with some descendants coming forward. If not, I may take up you suggestion (can't find where to reply) and send them on to the Hornsby FHG
