Congress - The People that you Meet - Day 1

The best thing about genealogy conferences and get togethers is being able to gather in one place with people who share one's passion. Even better is being able to meet in person those who have been one's virtual friends.

This collection of snaps includes images of old and new friends and some of the presenters at today's sessions. For those who have commented about the absence of Western Australians and Tasmanians  I am including a couple of photos of reps from these states.

Allan Murrin on the Familysearch stand
Lynda from Victoria who I first met at Rootstech

Gorgeous Alona Tester from Gould Genealogy
Open Keynote Colleen Fitzpatrick from the US signing her books - her session was amazing
Liana from Western Australia
Dan Poffenberger from Familysearch USA gave an excellent talk on Paleontology

Rosemary from Tasmania with Gail from Victoria
Graham Jaunay dating photographs

Gentleman from Familysearch who reads the Geniaus blog
Shauna Hicks and an old friend from her Canberra days after her excellent presentation on Church Records
