Young Aussie at Rootstech

I was thrilled to see young Australian, Tas, who travelled to Rootstech last year in this promotional video for Rootstech 2016.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Tas at Rootstech 2015 and was so impressed by this confident Sydney school student. You can see what he had to say (a little more) than on the Rootstech clip here:

World Ballet Day

Today, October 1 is World Ballet Day.

While we don't have any Baryshnikovs, Bussells, Fonteyns, Nureyevs or Pavoloas in our family several family members enjoyed their ballet classes and performances. I dug into the family album fo find some of our dancers from last century. It's pleasing to note that we have a young generation with three ballerinas enjoying dance.

Were there any dancers in your family?
