I've been researching my family history for over thirty years. Along this genealogy journey I have been supported by hundreds of books, many of which I have listed on my Librarything page.
During the 2021 #AtoZChallenge I will be writing about two of my passions, books and family history. I'll be taking a trip down memory lane and revisiting some of those books that have enriched my genealogy experience.
If you are like me and still playing it safe at home until you have the Covid jab how about joining me in the challenge?
Good theme! Look forward to reading more about you and picking up some reading tips too!

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to you book choices, Jill.
ReplyDeleteI've alwasys seen so many geneaology enthusiasts on this challenge. I always think that it must be hard to do this kind of research. It will be interesting to see who you go about it.

I also am looking forward to reading your post as always. After my first year in 2020, I realised it's a lot of work so I started in mid Jan. But it's very worthwhile as it gives me a chance to review my research (and improve my sourcing) and leave something permanent for the family. I'm never going to write a book but doing it in bite size pieces (well, mouthfuls really)works for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for promoting this.
Great themes! Enjoy the challenge
