Royal Treatment

The reason for our trip to Yorkshire was to visit the burial ground where Robert's 6xGreat-Grandparents, Isaac Midgley and Millicent Walker were interred in 1759 and 1765. We were given the royal treatment when we visited The Fulneck Moravian Settlement today.

We were taken on a tour of the village by the Museum Chairman and saw the Church in which Midgley ancestors were married and christened. We were given access to original documents by the archivist who patiently answered our many questions. We learnt so much about the life and times of those ancestors.
