Hi Jill, what line of the D'arcy family are looking into?

"Hi Jill, what line of the D'arcy family are looking into? " was a question I was asked in a Facebook Group today. 

I was about the launch into a mega comment in reply on Facebook but thought that a blog post would give me more scope to share details of this branch and the potential to reach a larger audience and the opportunity as what I write is preserved on Pandora.

My 3x Great-Grandparents were John D'arcy and Mary Wade who lived in Templemore, Tipperary. Several of their daughters including my 2x Great-Grandmother, Elizabeth D'arcy emigrated to Australia and settled in the Dungog area.

My grandmother always claimed that the boxer, Les D'arcy, was her cousin, but I have not been able to prove this. The answer probably lies with DNA testing. It is interesting to note that I have recently identified several living D'Arcy cousins via DNA. 

The first four generations of John and Mary's descendants I have found so far are listed below. Reading throught the report has shown me here there are holes in my work, I will try to devote some time to this branch in the New Year.
