.pdf to .jpg

I often find myself with a .pdf document that I want to share on one of my blogs. I sometimes copy and paste parts of the text into the blog and often I just don't bother.

This morning I realised how silly that was. I dug into the depths of my memory and recalled, Zamzar, the free online file conversion tool that I used when I was a working girl.

It was such a simple matter to go to the Zamzar site,  upload my .pdf file and ask it to convert it to a .jpg. 
After inputting my email address I had to wait less than 2 minutes for the converted files to be sent to my email account.

 One only has a day to download the converted files from the link given by Zamzar. If you are not a cheapskate like me you can have a paid Zamzar account with heaps more features.

    There's screen capture too. I recently found out there's a Snipping Tool built into Windows 8. I'm pretty sure it's in 7 too, but I don't know about earlier versions. For when you just want a piece of what's on your screen to be the image.

    Unfortunately the Windows screen capture tool that I use daily won't snip parts of image not on screen. The fike I wanted to copy today was 2xA4 pages. This will change when I get my new big monitor for Christmas and can see more on screen.

    ABBYY Screenshot reader came with my scansnap, if it came with yours you shuld check it out. Best screen capture tool ever. I don't know how I lived without it. Slightly hyperbolic but true!

    Whilst I love the Snipping Tool in Windows 7, I truly luv Jing!!!(by TechSmith)which I have sitting ideally above the browser. Free download @ http://jing.en.softonic.com/

    It's quick and easy. Still like other software but, for speed. Jing does it for me. Cheers!!!

    I use the Adobe Acrobat Pro, pdf save document as jpeg option. On your pdf document you select file, then move down to save as, then image, then jpeg, then save and all done. The various save options are great and it is all nice and easy.

    Windows Snipping Tool is available in Vista but you have to download a 3rd party one for XP. I use the Vista one all the time.
