Sixty-five years ago a young policeman, Allan John Curry, married his sweetheart, Elsie, in Randwick, NSW. As her father had passed away shortly before the wedding Elsie did not wear a traditional white wedding gown but a smart but somber ensemble.

Dad is no longer with us but Mum, although a bit forgetful, is in good health. I will phone her later to remind her about this special day.
