Tree complete?

This ad on Gumtree surprised me. T. Metcalf in Perth is offering his/her services to research others' family trees at a moderate price because he/she enjoys the thrill of the chase and has completed his/her own tree.

Most genealogists never get around to completing their trees!

    Years ago I saw this task as finite but not now. Even if I live to be 99, the family tree will never be finished. So much to find!

    I don't think I will ever see the day! I wouldn't know what to do if it was. I have always wondered what people meant by their tree was complete.

    Amazing. You have to wonder about what kind of services would be offered by someone who thinks that it is possible to complete a family tree. The more family research I do, the bigger the job looks.
