Genealogists for Families' team with microloans through
Kiva. We gathered tonight at
The Strathmore Hotel across the road from the Convention Centre.
I was especially thrilled to meet Sharn White and Kylie Willison (geneabloggers) whom I had not previously met in person. We all tossed our small change into a cup passed around by Judy and raised $57 - enough for two new loans with a bit left over.

Jill and Robert, I'm so glad you could come. It was a fun night. Having such a willing photographer was an unexpected bonus! I will organise the two Kiva loans after the Congress sessions today.
