From my Dad's collection this photo is simply described as "Shearers Cook - Fairview 1937"
Fairview, Canowindra, NSW, Australia was a property managed by my grandfather, Thomas William Curry. My Dad left school at age 13 to help his father on the farm.
Shearer's cooks travelled from property to property at shearing time to cook meals for the shearers.They prepared three main meals and two "smokos".
