I had promised myself that I was going to attend the meetings of the Hawkesbury Family History Group this year as it is an active group, just half an hour from my home and the place where a number of my early convict ancestors settled..
I have already broken my resolution because I am off to Rootstech. tomorrow.
I am particularly sorry to be missing the meeting tomorrow, Wednesday 9 February 2011, at 10am. where Ralph Hawkins, who has been the archives officer with SAG, will talk on "Faces & Places - Dating Family Photographs". The meeting is free and anyone interested is welcome to attend at Hawkesbury Library 300 George Street Windsor..
