I have upgraded over the years and am now up to ACDSee20. It's not the Ultimate version but is more than adequate for my needs and affordable too.GenieJenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05376612444939153613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776281256905648887.post-86052846400621457532018-01-10T15:59:52.060+11:002018-01-10T15:59:52.060+11:00If you're looking for IPTC-standard, and free ...If you're looking for IPTC-standard, and free (for Windows), try GeoSetter. http://www.geosetter.de/en/download/

The IPTC tags are secondary to the mapping features but just as good.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776281256905648887.post-54954628361810732002018-01-10T14:35:24.501+11:002018-01-10T14:35:24.501+11:00I had a look at ACDSee and it does look good. Also had a quick look at Photoscape, however that does look to be just an editing software not for organisation. I've been using Historian for quite a few years, previously called Memory Manager by Creative Memories, however I always worry if the company goes under. It doesn't use the Pictures folder. It has it's own hierarchy which is a very obscure, so you can't use your photos outside of the software. Not good. Thanks for sharing your journey with photo organising.Jenny Mackayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08970850169540410457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776281256905648887.post-51953431842914280192018-01-10T11:44:11.600+11:002018-01-10T11:44:11.600+11:00I need to sort out my images.
